Out of Biographies and Ideas....

Greetings, how has everyone's week been? I hate to say that I'm out of post ideas for the blog. I'm not leaving the blog, but for a week there will be no new posts since I must have a break and decide what I'm going to do next. I love hing this blog and I love having the people that support it. Thank You So Much.
                                                                         Yours Truely,

Sweet Nothing

Hello, how was your weekend? Mine was good. Sorry that I didn't get to post the weekly biography, some snow came and that seperated me from my blog. So, to make up the lost this week (only) I will put two biographies in the same post....... Today's simple entry is about a song that bascually talks about my life. The song is called- "Sweet Nothing." It's by Calvin Harris and it features Florence Welch (of - Florence and the Machine)

Probually, one of the truest songs.... ever.

You took my heart and you held it in your mouth
And, with a word all my love came rushing out
And, every whisper, it's the worst, emptied out by a single word
There is a hollow in me now

So I put my faith in something unknown
I'm living on such sweet nothing
But I'm trying to hope with nothing to hold
I'm living on such sweet nothing
And it's hard to learn
And it's hard to love
When you're giving me such sweet nothing
Sweet nothing, sweet nothing
You're giving me such sweet nothing

[Beat break]

It isn't easy for me to let it go
Cause
I've swallow every single word
And
Every whisper, every sigh
Eats away at this heart of mine
And there is a hollow in me now

So I put my faith in something unknown
I'm living on such sweet nothing
But I'm trying to hope with nothing to hold
I'm living on such sweet nothing
And it's hard to learn
And it's hard to love
When you're giving me such sweet nothing
Sweet nothing, sweet nothing
You're giving me such sweet nothing

[Beat break]

And it's not enough
To tell me that you care
When, we both know the words are empty air
You give me nothing

Uoooh
Uoooh
Uoooh
Nothing

[Beat break]

Uoooh
Uoooh
Uoooh

Sweet Nothing

Uoooh
Uoooh
Uoooh
Sweet Nothing

Oscars

Greetings, how is everyone today? I'm good. to start off this week, the post on Friday replaced the biography that I had planned. (the biography will be this week.) So, who watched the Oscars last night? Me!  My favorte part about it was that my favorte singer (Adele) made a comeback by singing her song- "Skyfall." at the Oscars. Later, she and her producer (Paul Epworth) each won a Oscar for "Skyfall." Was a wonderful night. Here''s a lovely picture to start off the week...

There she is... the Queen!

Melodic Intonation Therapy

Grettings. How was everyone's week? Mine has bee good. Have not been able to talk to my fans since I have been busy with science fair. Later on in the future, I will redo the Speech-Language Pantholgy since there was major stuff I left out.... Well anywho, today's post is over something that I'm currently doing. It's called Melodic Intonation Therapy.
Melodic Intonation Therapy is when you have a singy voice while talking. the goal of this is to eventually get rid of stuttering. Well this therapy goes by four steps-
In the first stage the therapist hums “intoned phrases” and the stutter taps the “rhythm and stress of each pattern” with his/her hands or feet . In the beginning of the second stage the stutter joins the therapist in humming while continuing to beat the rhythms. As the stutter progresses, the therapist begins to sing “intoned phrases” and the stutter repeats them . The third stage is the same as the final level of stage two except that now the stutter is required to wait for a designated period of time before repeating the phrase or sentence. This helps to increase the stutter's ability to “retrieve” words. In the fourth and final stage the sentence length is increases and “sprechgesang” is used to facilitate the transition to normal speech. The ultimate goal is to remove the musical elements entirely so the stutter presents normal speech.

George VI

Right now, as I type away on my computer, My happiness is going on. This week's biography is over a famous person who's life is reflected in the award winning movie- " The King's Speech." Yes, today's biography is George VI. (P.S.- This makes the 4th biography ever since I started. Will try to do more soon.)

There is a stutter, behind every person.....

George VI was King of the United Kingdom from 1936-1952. Out of all of the biographies, he is the most famous stutter. George VI's problem was ten times worse than mine. George's therpist- Lionel Louge helped George VI out of his stuutering problem and helped him speak. (Sounds very simular to Me and Ms. Sam) During Wold War II, Louge helped George VI make his wartime speeches... If you want to find out more about this watch the film- " The King's Speech." (2010.)

Speech-Language Pantholgist

Hello, how was everyone's afternoon? Mine was great. Today, I'm going to talk to you about Speech- Language Pantholgy..... I'm going to be one. The reason why I want to be one is that I have been inspired by my therpist (Ms. Sam) to become one. When you become one, did you know that you get paid 3 times as much as you do if you work in a school. My therpist told me that I would have to go through 4 years of training for your diploma. Then, you much go again for another 2 years to earn your Master's.  I think that being a Speech-Language Pantholgist would be fun since I will be able to help others like me that has this rare "thing." Have a lovely rest of the day.

Daydreamer

Here's the reason why I''m a Daydreamer......
Greetings! How has everyone's week been. Mine has been great. Placed 3rd in regional speech contest (Now one chapter of my life is over....) The speech contest made me relize that I'm a Daydreamer and yet I'm not a Daydreamer...  Wait you may ask.. What is a Daydreamer? A Daydreamer is a person who is a huge fan of the lovely Adele.  A Daydreamer is not a person that day dreams in classs.. (So who ever said that I was not a Daydreamer, you are wrong...) More post's coming later and possibly a possible biography on Friday... Have a lovely day.  :)
